Who am I?
I am an upcoming graduate from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas majoring in graphic design. I have spent time living in various places across the United States, including Florida, Wisconsin, Colorado, and recently Nevada. I grew up as a huge dog lover, now owning my very own dog named Aurora who is a bundle of energy and joy.
Throughout my childhood I played basketball, including four years of high school varsity and one year at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Aside from graphic design, I am very into drawing and writing. However, my love for cartoons and anime has pushed me to learn and enjoy digital illustration in my free time. If I’m not drawing, then you can find me spending a lot of time writing deep and meaningful works of fiction or listening to my favorite music, such as K-Pop or early 2000’s alternative rock.

Artist Statement
As a graphic designer and illustrator, the multitudes of different media I consumed growing up inspire me. Whether the various digital forms of media or the types of media we naturally and unconsciously intake and observe within our everyday lives, I implement these with an added, personal twist, into my own art. I am an artist who enjoys bringing my imagination to life within the digital world by taking the traditional, hand-drawn approach before scanning and creating vibrant, colorful design or illustration that evokes a sense of reminiscence. My illustrative artworks are animated pieces that I consider an extension of myself and others who have impacted me, often implicating their various personalities and unique stories into my own personal characters. Through my designs, I want to give the viewer a warm and personal experience, like that of an adult who is flipping through an old childhood photo album. I believe that through design, we are able to bring that distant childhood-like feeling forward again, brightening our lives just a little more.
